Victoria Rally – Not for Everyone.
But Maybe Just for You!
How to Join?
If:
✔ you are healthy,
✔ you can work in a team,
✔ you have an open heart and truly want to help other women,
✔ long working hours, spontaneous accommodation, and unpredictable logistics don’t scare you,
✔ you love adventure and can find beauty in simplicity —
then the Victoria Rally might be your path.
What is it about?
Victoria Rally is a social initiative aimed at fighting menstrual poverty and empowering women professionally in East Africa.
We’ve already completed 3 editions and trained over 4,000 women!
As every year, the route will be designed so that you can join or leave at various stages. The entire journey will take about 4–5 weeks.
This is not a tourist trip — it's a mission. We support, educate, sew, teach, and build sisterhood.
What You Need to Know:
I do not take responsibility for participants. We are a team, we support each other, but — as they say — “the show must go on.”
Travel arrangements (flight tickets, visas, vaccinations, insurance) are the participant’s responsibility.
The estimated cost for accommodation and food is about 30 USD per day — sometimes less, sometimes more. It’s best to be prepared.
I do not charge an entry fee, as I am not a travel agency. However, this year every participant will be asked to find at least one sponsor.
I will help — I’ve prepared presentations and tips on how to find one.
If your sponsor can also cover your flight ticket? Fantastic — we can work it out together.
Got an Idea? Bring Something to the Table!
This year, we’re expanding our activities to include programs for children, who often accompany the women during our meetings.
For example: we’ll be sewing soft toys that the kids can take home with them.
Got another idea?
Would you like to lead workshops on sexual education, entrepreneurship, ecology, or personal development?
Wonderful! Send over a plan of your activity and a brief description of what you'd like to contribute to the Rally.
Who Am I Looking For?
In addition to workshop leaders, I’m also looking for support in areas like:
-
Organization and logistics
-
Marketing and communication
-
Social media
-
Reporting and documentation
-
Photography and video
-
Psychological support
-
Medical personnel
-
Technical assistance and supervision of the sewing process
(yes — someone needs to make sure the girls don’t cut out the center of the fabric 😉)
You Don’t Need to Know How to Sew — That’s My Job!
And I promise: I’ll teach you faster than you think.
